About Fulham Renovations
We renovate period houses in south west London. Almost everything we build is a Victorian or Edwardian house within a few miles of Fulham — and that narrowness is the point.
Fulham Renovations is a renovation and building company working across Fulham, Parsons Green, Chelsea, Hammersmith, Putney and Wandsworth. We do full house renovations, extensions, loft and basement conversions, and we publish our cost ranges rather than making you ask.
Why the area list is short
A building site that is not visited daily is a site that drifts. We stay inside a corridor we can reach from one base, which means the same project manager is on your job several times a week rather than once a fortnight. It costs us work we could otherwise take; it is the single biggest reason our projects finish when we said they would.
Why we publish prices
Every ranking cost guide in this market publishes numbers, and most builders still will not. We think that is the wrong way round. You cannot plan a renovation without a budget, and a range you can rely on is more useful than a quote you have to chase. Every figure on this site is a guide for budgeting, excluding VAT — we quote a fixed price after a site visit, against a written specification.
What we will not do
- Quote a renovation or extension over the phone. The cost depends on what is behind the plaster.
- Take a large payment before starting. A modest deposit for materials is normal; a third of contract value up front is not.
- Start work without building control engaged. The completion certificate is part of the job, not an extra.
- Replace original fabric that can be repaired. A replaced cornice never quite matches, and in a conservation area it is often not permitted.
- Take a project we cannot properly supervise, however good the job looks.
